iPhone = iOrange = iPhone?

I'm sure almost of you know what is an iPhone is. To not lose to this phone made by apple, an iPhone look-alike has surfaced in the market. The name? iOrange. Unoriginal, I know.

I've provided pictures to show the difference in visualizations:

    A real iPhone, picture courtesy of kottke.org

    A real iOrange, courtesy of supermobile.com.au

Visually, it doesn't look too much different, except for it's finishing, which I believe iPhone is better than iOrange.

Before I list out the spec difference between each phone, check out the commercials for each of the phone :

                                            The commercial for iOrange, courtesy of youtube.com

                                          The commercial for iPhone, courtesy of youtube.com again.

I believe the commercial covers pretty much I want to cover.

HAHA, you know what, chinese people are very good at copying others' idea and produce their own products. If you go to china, you will find out a lot of amazing products.

I agree with Syahir. China mass-manufactures alot of expensive products at almost the same quality and sell them at a much lower price. Looks like we can depend on you for recommendations on some low-cost deals. :)

Would you recommend the iOrange? Do you this way of 'copying' other deigns is reflective of a certain mindset or culture in the people? Or is it purely a case of economics? Do share more of your personal insights.

Personally, I would not recommend the iOrange, unless you really want to compare the differences between the iPhone and iOrange. Personally, I think that the chinese do this, so they create a cheaper alternative on what's available in the market, and they made it to resemble the original product, but without some of the functions the original has.
